Does Vibe take a cut of tips or memberships?
No. Supporter payments are paid to the creator’s own Lightning wallet. Vibe charges creators a flat monthly plan instead.
How do supporters pay?
With bitcoin over the Lightning network, from any Lightning wallet. After connecting a wallet once, tips and renewals take one tap.
Do my supporters need bitcoin?
They need a Lightning wallet, which takes about five minutes to set up, and the site links supporters to a step-by-step guide. After connecting a wallet once, every tip and unlock is one tap.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. Free gives you the community with up to 250 members, 5 GB of storage and 500 live viewer-hours a month, and costs $0 for every month your supporters pay you under $200. Reach $200 in a month and that month costs $50, billed at month’s end. The only thing you pay before earning is the $3 identity check.
Do memberships renew automatically?
A membership is a 30-day pass. Nothing renews unless the supporter connected a wallet with a budget they control; reminders go out before each renewal.
What happens if a member shares my work outside the community?
Every photo and video a member receives carries an invisible mark unique to that account, on every plan. Send us the copy and the mark tells us which account it was delivered to; that account can be blocked from your content.
