What we collect
- Account: email address, handle, display name, password handled by our sign-in provider, two-factor settings, your preferences.
- Creators' verification: our independent verification provider checks your ID and selfie; we receive only the decision and a one-way fingerprint that lets us recognize the same person across accounts. We never receive or store the documents or images.
- Payments: amounts, times and the Lightning invoices involved. Payments go wallet to wallet; we have no card or bank details. If you connect a wallet for auto-pay, the connection is stored encrypted and can only pay up to the budget you set.
- Activity: rooms you follow or join, messages, purchases, chat, and the invisible mark linking delivered media to your account (used only to trace leaks).
- Technical: IP address and device information for security, rate limiting and fraud prevention.
- Vibe Studio for iPhone: the app uses your sign-in, your business data (earnings, members, shows, text messages) and, if you allow notifications, a notification token for your device, only to run the service. The app contains no advertising, no tracking and no third-party analytics. You can request account deletion from the app's Settings.
Why we use it
To run your account and the services you use; to verify creators and keep minors off the platform; to deliver content only to the people who paid for it and trace leaks; to send the emails you receive (you control marketing emails in Preferences); to prevent abuse; and to meet legal obligations.
Who processes it for us
Trusted providers process data for us under contract: hosting and content delivery networks, our sign-in provider, our identity verification provider, email delivery, and Apple's notification service for alerts in the iPhone app. Each receives only what it needs. Creators receive supporters' email addresses only when a supporter chooses to share them.
How long we keep it
Account data while your account is open. Payment records as long as the law requires. Verification decisions and fingerprints for as long as needed to apply the Free plan's $200 threshold across a person's accounts and to enforce our safety rules. Reports and evidence about serious violations as required by law. Deleted creator content is removed from storage as described in the Terms.
Your rights
You can see and download your data from My account, correct it, and close your account. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, such as objecting to or restricting some uses. To exercise them, email hello@joinvi.be.
